Coronavirus – GP Update

Unfortunately we have had a positive Covid-19 case who is a member of our team at the Thorkhill Practice.

To protect other patients and members of the public, the individual is in isolation, away from the GP surgery and will remain at home also in isolation. In line with Public Health England (PHE) guidance, we have other members of staff who too will isolate and remain at home for 10 days whilst we undertake cleaning, to remove any potential risk for patients and adhere to government guidelines.

Patients and staff can be reassured that their safety is the top priority, and patients are encouraged to attend all appointments as usual unless advised differently whilst our staff are in isolation.

Should you need to contact the surgery, please do so using our Footfall website; however, please be advised the GPs are working from home and cannot see patients for face to face appointments this week (14th December), and there may be a slight delay in them responding to their queries. However, your patience would be greatly appreciated at this time.

For any problem that cannot wait call 111 or 999 for a life threatening emergency.
